Rose Hill Elementary School
As the name suggests, Brookland Estates is made up of large and colonial style single-family homes set on generous, landscaped lots. Many of the homes were built in the early to mid 1900’s. Interestingly, the land that became the Rose Hill was part of an 18th century plantation called Rose Hill, hence the name. Residents of Rose Hill have easy access the Huntington and the Franconia/Springfield Metro stations. Brookland Estates is served by Rose Hill (Elementary and Middle School), and Thomas A. Edison High School.
