Leonor moved to Northern Virginia in 1983 to attend college and study computer science. Early on, one of her instructors told her, “Leonor, you’re not a technician. You’re a communicator.” These words stung a little at first, but Leonor soon learned that her professor had her best interests at heart. After graduation, Leonor worked briefly for the USDA, but found her calling in 1999 when she obtained her real estate license.

As a Realtor, Leonor first started with the most difficult work in the office, the work that no one else in her office wanted to take on: advising investors about buying selling HUD homes. Over the past 12 years she has had significant experience helping her clients buy and sell REO/foreclosure properties. As a listing agent Leonor managed restoration crews and helped put distressed properties back in top condition. Leonor understands the special difficulties of 203k purchases.
