excellence.The Laurel Ridge Elementary School Lions are proud to stand for their core values. The Schools colors are royal blue, white, and yellow. Their mission statement is as follows,“The vision of Laurel Ridge ES is to become a school in which each and every student learns to their fullest potential, leaving with the foundation to lead fulfilling, productive, and responsible lives with the desire and capacity to be lifelong learners.” Special features of the school include: English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), School Age Child Care (SACC), full day kindergarten, Special Education, World Languages, Spanish immersion, Challenge 24 math, Geography bee, Lightning Lions Jump rope Team, Posititive Behavior Support, Chess Club, Girls on the Run, and a take home reading program. Laurel Ridge Elementary School, located in Fairfax, Virginia, serves grades PK-6 in the Fairfax County Public Schools district.
