Fairfax Children Entertainment Options
When you have children, it can be difficult to find things to entertain them outside of doing the same old thing such as going to the park. One of the most convenient opportunities about living in Fairfax is easy access to George Mason University. The town has made an easy transition in appealing to professionals, college students, and young families. If you are looking for an extra dose of entertainment to add to your repertoire, then you should try looking up children’s performances that are often hosted at the campus.
Last year my family and I had the opportunity to attend Sesame Street Live and my children had a blast. It was so neat to have the ability to see the type of shows that are typically only shown in larger venues. Of course, with D.C. only minutes away, you still have access to all sorts of activities. The beauty of this option is that it has the possibility of being right in your back yard and you don’t have to worry about so much traffic.
They have several family entertainment options that cater specifically to children and they continue to add more options every year. Outside of going to special events hosted at the university, there are also plenty of other places that include the waterpark, petting zoo, and small fairs. Feel free to try something different when trying to plan a weekend for your children. Fairfax is a great place to start.
