Rosslyn is at the doorstep of Washington DC
Rosslyn is located in the northeastern corner of Arlington County, north of Arlington National Cemetery and directly across the Potomac River from Georgetown in Washington, D.C. The numerous high-rise buildings of Rosslyn give the village an urban feel. It appears (in some ways) more urban than nearby Washington. Rosslyn’s high rises are some of the tallest in Northern VA. Many condos here have vistas to the National Mall, Lincoln Memorial, Washington Monument and more.
Being close to the Potomac River, its hotel accommodations, and the museums they can access across the river has made Rosslyn a prominent tourist attraction. The Rosslyn Spectrum Theatre accommodates the business needs by day, but provides a place for Broadway performers, annual jazz festivals, and independent film festivals. Rosslyn is the home of major companies that provide employment to its residents and keeps the cities commercial area vibrant.
With a rise in culture and the nightlife, Rosslyn is also becoming more and more attractive as a place to call home. With large commercial areas, a beautiful river, and upscale apartments, Rosslyn is showing itself to be a great place to live.

New to Court House in Arlington?
The “Court House” Metro station is next to Courthouse Plaza. The Courthouse Plaza has a mall of 19 shops and restraints, six screen Movie Theater, farmers market, apartments, and live music. One thing that holds true to its name is the fact that Court House is the center of Arlington County’s government. All the county courts, police departments, administrative offices, and the Verizon employer headquarters are housed on the grounds. The Court House is home to many students who attend Strayer University. Strayer University is located right above the Metro Station, making it accessible to students across D.C Metro Areas.
Court House is known for its architecture due to the high-rises, both residential and commercial, that dominate the skyline near the metro. Just a few blocks away one will find garden-style homes and single-family homes. As the Court House turns into village, you will find the Rocky Run Park and Key Elementary School. The
village is the beautiful area many people call home. If the sheer beauty of Court House is not enough, its convenient location will be.

Many people consider Clarendon the center of Arlington’s social scene because of its active nightlife and many dining spots. The nightlife includes everything from salsa and ballroom dancing to blues or electro-modern. Clarendon also has a reputation for good food. Clarendon offers tastes for every tongue from Texan to Thai food. The most-modern high rises along Wilson Boulevard stand along 100 year oaks, and just a few blocks away bungalows and colonials remind us of old Arlington County. Introduction to Ballston
An urbanized mixed-use community in Arlington VA
When you first see the Ballston Common, your immediate thoughts will be this is exactly what I had in mind. Ballston Common is a 578,000-square-foot, four-level, enclosed, urban mixed-use development. The center is located in the “Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor”. The “Rosslyn-Ballston Corridor” contains a three mile stretch of urbanistic styled offices with neighborhood appeal. This sophisticated area is home to chic upscale hotels, the National Science Foundation and the Ballston Common Mall. The Ballston Common Mall is a four level enclosed shopping mall located at the corner of Glebe Road and Wilson Boulevard. This mall houses top of the line department stores, a 12 screen Regal Cinema, Sports Club, and an 11-story office tower.
The Ballston Metro Station is the focal point for transportation in Ballston. Only a block away from Ballston Common and the Ballston Mall the station has no need for parking. Running on the Orange Line it serves as transportation throughout the community. Ballston is your first and last stop in Arlington’s Ballston-Rosslyn Corridor.
